I have experience speaking to students and parents on a variety of topics. My main message is that we all have abilities and disabilities. We can accomplish our dreams if we set our minds to it, overcoming any obstacles that stand in our way.

These topics include, but are not limited, to:

• Disability awareness: Educating people with and without disabilities that people with disabilities can do just about anything, just maybe in different ways.
• Empowerment: We all have goals and if we set our minds to it, we can accomplish them. We just have to overcome our disabilities (weaknesses) with our abilities (strengths).
• Advocacy: If we do not fight for the rights and services we need, we will not receive them. Youth with disabilities and their parents need to join the fight for equal opportunity.
• Leadership: A leader is not born, it is created. We can all be leaders in our schools, organizations, and communities.

I have presented to professionals, parents, and students of all ages, grade school through college.
