Introduction

About Our Web Consulting

Our services help improve accessibility and promote a more inclusive environment for people with disabilities. We utilize our unique perspectives based on our life-long accessibility experiences as travelers and customers with disabilities.

About Our Web Consulting

Have you ever wondered how welcoming your business really is? How about the accessibility of your business, including your website? Accessibility is more than just a ramp, more than just getting into the building; accessibility is a broader spectrum than typically realized.

On September 25, 2018, the Department of Justice (DOJ) wrote a letter addressing their affirmation that Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) covers websites; all goods, services, and activities provided to the public must be accessible to all consumers. Websites are indeed a service and therefore should be accessible.

As a leader of your business, adhering to accessibility standards and setting the precedent by providing an accessible website, will create an inclusive and sustainable environment to your customers and set an example in your community.

Our Services

We at Wandke Consulting offer unique services to help improve accessibility and promote a more inclusive environment for people with disabilities. We are a broadly focused consulting practice that utilizes our unique perspective based on our life-long accessibility experiences as travelers and customers with disabilities. We welcome the opportunity to become your specialists in assisting you in exceeding accessibility standards, avoiding litigation, and helping you create an inclusive business through an accessible website that can attract the $490 billion disability market.

We offer customizable, unique, and full-service consultation packages to assist you with ADA and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines to ensure your business is accessible and inclusive for customers with mobility, vision, and hearing disabilities.

The Web Accessibility Process

Wandke Consulting can help you gather data about your website’s accessibility by providing functional and technical website and app testing for WCAG and CVAA compliance.

We offer a preliminary audit, free of charge, that indicates the overall number of problems that could arise for a consumer with a disability. We can then work with you to complete a full audit of your website and provide you with a detailed description of the necessary modifications–both Technical and Functional–including information about compliance with screen readers, magnification, closed captioning, on-screen keyboard, and switch control. We can then assist your development team with the remediation process.
