Wandke Accessibility is B Corp Certified!

B Corporation

"We are committed to doing social good and this certification shows our commitment! It was a year-long process to become certified, and I am excited to be a part of the B-Corp community!" -Daman Wandke, Founder and CEO of Wandke Accessibility

After many months of hard work and collaboration, we are so happy to announce that Wandke Accessibility is officially a certified B Corporation! We are proud to join this community of brands who show that business is about so much more than profit and the bottom line.

What is a B Corporation?

A B Corporation, or B Corp, is a type of for-profit business that is certified by the non-profit organization (NPO) B Lab. The certification is awarded to companies that meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. These standards are evaluated through the B Impact Assessment (BIA), which measures a company's impact on its workers, community, customers, and environment. The BIA covers various aspects of the business, including governance, workers' rights, community engagement, environmental practices, and ethical sourcing. Achieving B Corp certification requires businesses to score a minimum threshold in all these areas.

Unlike traditional businesses that focus primarily on maximizing shareholder value, B Corporations operate with a "triple bottom line" approach, considering the impact of their decisions on people, the planet, and profit. Joining the B Corp movement means redefining success in business by promoting sustainable and socially responsible practices. Certified B Corporations are members of a global community of businesses working towards positive societal and environmental impact, and they use their business as a force for good in addition to generating profits. The certification is a symbol that our clients can trust us, indicating that high standards of ethical and sustainable business practices have been met.
