Ensure Your Website is Inclusive

Manual Audits by Experts

Unlike automated testing platforms that identify only 40% of site failures, our team of disability experts conducts manual audits to address 100% of your site's errors. We navigate websites like any user, providing insights into authentic experiences.

Scalable Compliance Reporting

Our audits identify any WCAG 2.1 compliance failures, explain each error as an accessibility barrier, and package the findings in a detailed executive summary for easy presentation.

Beyond Overlays

Our audits provide detailed updates needed to implement true accessibility, unlike overlays that act as a temporary fix. Overlays often lead to more barriers, and in 2021, over 400 companies using web accessibility widgets were sued.

Auditing Process

As your accessibility partner, we reinforce your work plans with robust deliverables. Our services focus on creating an inclusive experience strategy that improves webpage quality, increases visibility, and expands client markets. We provide data reports that agencies can personalize for their clients, allowing you to focus on maintaining client relationships.

Initial Consultation

In our initial correspondence, we'll discuss your specific needs and objectives to tailor the audit process to your website.

Detailed Audit

We conduct a thorough audit of four key web pages to identify any accessibility issues against WCAG 2.1 AA standards. We use a combination of automated tools and manual testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.

Findings Report

We compile a detailed issue tracker and an executive summary outlining the identified issues and their severity. We’ll also provide actionable recommendations for remediation.

Remediation Period

The next 90 days is dedicated to addressing the identified issues with our support and guidance. Our team is available to answer questions and provide additional insights during this period.

Regression Testing

After the 90-day remediation period, we perform a regression test to ensure all issues have been resolved. This final check ensures that the fixes have been implemented correctly and no new issues have been introduced.

Final Report

We’ll deliver a comprehensive final report with the results of the regression test. This report includes confirmation of compliance and any remaining recommendations for ongoing accessibility maintenance.

"We became our own first case study in soliciting Wandke's audit services to review our website's accessibility. It became apparent that not only were there dozens of fixes we needed to make for our website, but our clients also needed to make comparable improvements on their properties."

What is a digital accessibility audit?

A digital accessibility audit is a comprehensive review of a website or digital platform to identify barriers that prevent people with disabilities from accessing content and functionality. The audit assesses compliance with standards such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act).

Why is a digital accessibility audit important?

Accessibility audits ensure that websites are usable by everyone, including individuals with disabilities. They help organizations comply with legal requirements, enhance user experience, improve SEO, and avoid potential lawsuits.

What standards are used during an accessibility audit?

Common standards include WCAG 2.1, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the ADA. These guidelines provide criteria for making web content accessible to a wide range of users with various disabilities.

How is an accessibility audit conducted?

The process involves both automated and manual testing methods. Automated tools quickly identify common issues, while manual testing by experts ensures that more complex and context-specific barriers are addressed. This often includes using assistive technologies like screen readers.

What types of issues are typically identified in an accessibility audit?

Common issues include missing alt text for images, insufficient color contrast, lack of keyboard navigation, improper use of ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) roles, and non-compliant HTML/CSS code.
